DuroMaxx Replaces Structures at Four Canal Crossings
After reviewing several options to replace four large, deteriorating culverts located under roadways at canal crossings, Indian Trail selected DuroMaxx® steel reinforced polyethylene (SRPE) as the best solution for all four of the culverts. DuroMaxx provided not only an efficient and cost-effective solution, but also a quick installation minimizing road closure.
When an existing culvert needed to be replaced because the width of the stream was larger than the opening of the existing pipe, anAluminum Box Culvert was selected as the best option for its ability to meet all of the project requirements in a cost effective manner.
Intended to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians of the North 1st Street corridor, part of the project included improving the 100-year-old infrastructure by replacing it with a Filterra Internal Bypass Curb. The new bioretention system met all of the project's requirements.
