CDS Hydrodynamic Separator, Aluminized Steel Pipe and StormFilter Manage Stormwater
During an expansion project at the Capital Regional Medical Center, a new stormwater management system was needed to comply with current regulations for treatment and storage. The stormwater system included a CDS® hydrodynamic separator for pre-treatment, an underground detention system made from perforated, aluminized steel pipe, and a StormFilter® to remove pollutants.
When US 183 was expanded, a CON/SPAN® B-Series Bridge System was the best solution to replace the existing culvert for its ability to handle the drainage of the new, much larger roadway surface.
In order to prevent flooding from the nearby Susquehanna River, ArmorFlex® Class 40TSS Mats were installed to repair and rehabilitate the levee built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
