During the construction of a large warehouse project, Contech was asked to review the stormwater design to help make it more efficient and cost-effective. After considering the layout and size of the drainage areas, it became apparent that a Filterra Biofiltration system would be the perfect alternative to traditional bioretention.
Directed by the United States Forest Service (USFS), a structure barring fish from proceeding upstream to spawn in Imnaha Creek was replaced with a BridgeCor® Structural Plate arch. The new, open bottom structure was economical and structurally sound.
When an existing, deteriorating storm culvert needed to be replaced along State Route 601, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reviewed options and selected a HEL-COR® CMP culvert as the best option. HEL-COR was an approved product and met both the structural and sizing requirements.
